Bumping this thread, as I'm flying into NRT the week after next, and planning on staying in Asakusa, near the station. Won't be activating my Japan Rail Pass until a couple of days after, so the Keisei Access Express looks like a great option on paper - direct link, cheap, under an hour.

But... When you say it is mostly long seats, are there any that aren't? Am weighing up whether I want to sit on bench seats for an hour after a long-haul flight, or splash out on the Skyliner and a cab from Ueno. Probably takes the same time all-in, but with a little more comfort.
