We have a choice of A346 or 789 from SFO with VS and were wanting to know how economy seats compare between the two in terms of general comfort? The A340`s twin seat configuration looks like an advantage but is the newer 789 more comfortable?
I have heard no report from any 787 carrier suggesting that the economy cabin is any kind of draw. I am doing SFO-LHR in October and considered the VS 787 but opted for the BA A380 instead. I have experience of the VS A346 in economy and apart from wanting another inch or so of legroom thought it was fine.
