my OH had this problem a couple of years back. For a while it looked like BA wouldn't let him fly, despite the paperwork. But then they decided they would enter the info on the ESTA site and found it was ok after all. Just get there in plenty of time.

edit to add- we also had had the same message on OLCI so were prepared.
