I have my first trip towards the end of August. LHR-DUB/DUB-LCY-JFK-LAX-LAS/DEN-DFW-LHR-DUB.

I wouldn't usually be able to justify the expenditure, so it's a nice treat for me. I'm doing it "for the experience", but getting BA silver will tide over my soon-to-expire FF statuses from other airlines.

I hope to be able to do more in the future.. considering another trip early next year. Maybe just maybe!

On a side matter... I stayed at the airport Hilton the night before an "economy" ex-EU to Canada in May. Lovely room including breakfast for £50.00, shame about the disco in the pub/restaurant under my room until after midnight!
