But, and in all seriousness, it shows the difference between on and off script customer service, I think cabin crew have to deal with a much wider range of issues than ground staff who have a very much more restricted number of things to deal with... as soon as you have something out of the ordinary it can sometimes just end up in the "too difficult" bucket.
