I have lost count of the times I have sent compliments to BA about their crew. Today I have been on GLA-LHR-DUB and Steve and Jenny were superb. It was coincidence we were on the same schedule but doesn't matter, they were superb start to finish and took care of us.
We get off at Dublin to start our Business Class flights to the States and the check in operators haven't got a clue. They don't know if our bags will go straight to USA. They can't check us in on our LHR to states leg as we need to change terminals to get on out Iberia flight which is actually a BA flight from T5. When I point it out, they take offense and ask me why I wouldn't want my cases off at Heathrow. What ???????
Utterly clueless. Call BA and clueless. Avois enquiries are clueless. Complaints are clueless. Everything off a blooming plane is completely clueless.
It really is a bad day when a customer is actually telling you how to do your job.
Take a lesson from your cabin crew BA.
This is very odd as I have never had an issue with checking in bags in DUB for even the most convoluted of itineraries, I think you were just very unlucky and should have summoned a senior check in assistant.
Sometimes it is true they are unable to print BP's for all segments, especially AA segments but that isn't much of a problem since the BA BP prints never work at security anyway.
