It is really terrible that they are reducing seat pitch. These are going to be just as terrible as the 737-900's. 30" is simply not enough for a legacy mainline carrier that wants to market itself as more of a premium airline. Also, these A320's do quite a bit of medium haul domestic routes in the 4 hour range (LAX-MSP for example). I also see that they have given the flight attendants the wonderful gift of shrinking the rear galley to almost nothing, which will almost certainly slow down service.
Seats got wider, so personal space is probably similar to before even with reduced pitch.
And one more Flight Attendant for 6 more coach passengers means service should be much faster regardless of the galley changes
