Responded to that thread in detail but will just sum things up again:

Yes, Hertz's carsharing program (Hertz 24/7) will *end* but the scheme is being rolled into something likely to be known as "Hertz Gold on Demand" or some such. If you are a Hertz 24/7 member and or Hertz Gold you should have received information or will soon.

Basically from what one understands things will pretty much function the same as Hertz 24/7 does now, but you will have to be a HG member. Vehicle locations may also change. That is instead of going to private garage it may be a dedicated Hertz location.
