Not sure what rates are now but as an example I rented from Hertz in SYD for 1 week, returning in MEL with unlimited milage for less that $200 USD - pretty good I should say. There was a free day deal on the Hertz.com web site at the time. Great Camry car with AC and automatic. Loved driving on the Left, better than driving on the right in my opinion!
