I've stayed there about 5 years ago, it just became a Ramada (used to be called St. James Hotel). Location is very convenient, if you want to be in the Gaslamp Quarter. They have a valet parking. Rooms are VERY small, and breakfast buffet inadequate, IMO. But at $49 a night, it was a pretty good value.
