sdsearch, thanks! Earlier today I called AA and entered a status challenge for gold (was 140 bucks). Since I have 2 upcoming flights with AA, GRU-DFW-ORD (in W) and ORD-MSP (in A) I should be able to secure gold for 20 months next month for cheap and then be able to secure plat next year bc I have several european and latin american flights next year.
