Stayed two nights July 22,23rd on points and free CC night.

Platinum level status

Room on 11th floor
Was offered either $15 mini-bar credit or 600 points.
Was given two free drink tickets(beer/wine/non-alcoholic) at Lounge.
Offered 2pm checkout but didn't need it,
No room upgrade but didn't ask about one.

Room very clean, nice furniture, bathroom especially was nice. TV was hard to use mainly think remote needed new batteries, wasn't very responsive

Front desk and concierge staff(late evening shift) were very nice. Rooms are small but it's Manhattan. Refrigerator is extra. Port Authority/42nd St Subway entrance right next to front door, but is a long walk to the actual trains.

Didn't try the restaurant. Cheapo food court, Nathans, pizza across the street, better one is City Kitchen on the opposite corner of 8th/44th from the hotel. Luke's Lobster and some other upscale looking eats.

Duane Read(Walgreens) is about a couple blocks down 8th, good for supplies.

Valet parking was $60.

Would stay there again unless could find a better $$ deal elsewhere, i.e. nothing outstanding a few $$$ savings couldn't cure.
