Ah, well, I did hedge my bet there, didn't I?
So, upon further reflection, I've gone ahead and amended my answer to remove the "back-up" guess as I seem to recall there were runway constraints at the time at Kona that precluded BAC One-Eleven operations by Aloha into that airport (which meant they were probably operating Fairchild F-27 or Vickers Viscount turboprop equipment on the HNL-KOA route instead).
