I stay regularly at the Dan Panorama. Yes, some of their rooms are smaller, but in Israel ALL rooms are smaller--including those in private homes/apartments, when compared to room size in the US. The Dan Panorama does have Deluxe rooms which are not only larger but only 1-1.5 years old. They were gut renovated. Their Standard and Superior rooms are older but a place to sleep. ( hey, if the bed is comfortable and the bathroom clean what else do you want) The lobby and dining room is new and the included breakfast is excellent.

A friend of mine stays a month at a time at the Kings. The rooms there are getting tired. They just redid their lobby and I am not sure if they also redid the dining room. I have been there for Shabbat meals and they were good ( unlike years ago when they were terrible) My friend reports that the breakfast is also excellent.

The Prima Royale definitely has smaller rooms. You also pay less.
Mount Zion gets good reviews, but like the Dan Boutique its' location could be closer to things.

My vote is Dan Panorama all the way.
