fail to plan plan to fail

Hi,
Looking for some advice booked on 1​7​:4​5​ h 30/08/2015 MANCHESTER GB MANCHESTER AIRPORT (MAN) 1745 h
TERMINAL: 1
2​0​:2​5​ h FRANKFURT DE FRANKFURT INTL (FRA)
TERMINAL: 1 LH947
with a 1 hr 40 min layover connecting to LH 572 JNB

Do i need to clear security passport control as after viewing the gates the Manchester flight has been landing at recently it seems to be a Z gate and it departs to JNB at Z also or am I hoping for too much?
