What exactly are the *A lounge access rules they are outrightly defying?

Just because they only provide access to a lounges without showers in SIN, and inferior catering doesn't mean they are defying lounge access rules. Even though star alliance (and KF) gold members hate that policy, I am sure PPS and business class passengers love it.

International Business Class Customers
Customers have access to any Star Alliance member carriers' owned Business Class lounges.

Star Alliance Gold Customers Travelling in Any Class
Customers have access to any Star Alliance member carriers' owned lounges with the Star Alliance Gold logo at the entrance
