For anyone who may be interested, the AmeriSuites Las Colinas / Hidden Ridge is running a "Manager's Special" of $20 a night. I have not stayed at this particular AmeriSuites, but the two others that I stayed at were fine for the price, and $20 per night would be a real bargain considering that you get a suite (actually just a huge room with a wall dividing the living area from the sleeping area) with a dining table, sofa-sleeper, kitchenette and a buffet continental breakfast included. I found this rate available on Orbitz as well as www.amerisuites.com and it was available for several weekends that I checked as well as many weekdays. None of the other Dallas area AmeriSuites had this rate at the time I checked.
