Does anyone know if you can use a Staples gift card on the fee ($6.95) portion of a $200 VGC? I know one poster mentioned he was successfully able to do this once but I was curious if you could do it in general or if this was YMMV.
I'm not sure if it's YMMV but my go-to Staples manager was the one who asked me if I wanted to pay for the fee with StaRebGC and of course, I did! From then on, I use them or other discounted StGCs I have to pay the fees when there's a rebate on VGCs. While it works in-store, I don't think it works for paying online.
