BA treatment of a common frequent flyer

My BAEC membership year is coming to an end soon and I want to report my last year's experiences.
Although only 1/3 of my air travel goes to BA (mainly US) I still easily make it to GGL/CCR. I am also Lifetime Gold.

- upgrades : the last year I did not receive any operational upgrade (first time in ten years)
- recognition : I did recieve 3 nunwood surveys about recognition. In my last 100 flights I was greeted only once as a GGL member (sitting in economy) and once I got a change of seat (same cabin) and got a G&T (after CC announced that they only had water on board), after identitying myself as a GGL member.
- lounges: the state of the showers at T5 and cabanas (CCR) is so poor that my wife refuses to use these any longer. Recently I waited two hours for a coffee in the CCR (no waiter even passed by). I could have gone to the bar but I went to the First lounge to serve myself.
- the new short haul cabins is a deal killer for me, not enough legroom in C.
- on board food : bad in CW and fair in First
- cleaning of the aircraft is poor in comparison to other carriers.
- CC : not worse than CC on other European carriers

Future: my travel with BA will decrease next year due to the move of some US flights to T3. Transfering from T5 to T3 and vice versa is a deal killer for me. I will still fly BA next year to some locations in the US due to the convenient time schedule (and probably make CCR again). I will not return to BA next year for my flights to the East or within Europe.

Conclusion : Is it worth to make a special effort to get Gold or GGL or CCR?
I would say not today.
