Either way you would still lose the 10% rebate as you cannot redeem it until your balance grows back to $25 worth.
To get $62.88 for my 6288 miles, the room rate I book has to be lower than $62.88? And that amount before the tax? Won't be I losing some of my miles this way? I am not talking about the 10% bonus.
