That is unfortunate. It is a very magical place. Not all villas are hanging over the precipice, but you do lose a bit of privacy as you move down the hill. I actually preferred the personal infinity pool at my villa more than the common pool, even though the common pool is stunning. The rest of the resort doesn't really, to me, convey a sense of height but rather of unobstructed views.
