The prices for full transcon F on AS are what they are. There really isn't much of a way to do "trickery" that isn't described in the thread.
AS doesn't offer much in the way of award transcon F. My guess is your best bet for getting a full 5 hour flight in at a reasonable price would be something like BWI-LAX or MCO-SAN (where you're going to an AS outstation without as much presence as SEA).
