AS status is a "once in a lifetime" match. So if you burn the match now and don't requalify, they are unlikely to match you again. Matches after October ~30 of each year are generally granted status for all of the following year as well, whereas if you match before that, they will probably only grant you status until 12/31/15.

If you buy a ticket the way that was suggested above (instant upgrade fare) you will not qualify for board room access on the ticket. Only paid F gets board room access, however your DL and/or UA club memberships would likely get you into the BR in SEA.
