Thumbs up to boarding premium cabins before status holders, but I'm not really sure that the cabin baggage changes will make much difference. The issue remains that the HBO fares are encouraging too much hand luggage onto the plane. On the whole I don't think it's about individuals bringing on more than the limit, it's the fact that so many passengers are choosing to bring the maximum amount, rather than checking in bags.
