But after a tour of downtown, we decided to kick back and relax at our hotel until dinner (like mainland France, the Reunionnaise tend to start eating dinner a bit on the late side, like 8 pm).

Our hotel, Le Juliette Dodu, was a particularly pleasing little hotel right in the heart of Saint-Denis:
