Is the above true for "connecting" flights if the bags are reclaimed and later rechecked between flights? Specifically, I am flying CX HKG-SIN and then BA SIN-SYD. Although ticketed as a "connection" rather than a "stopover", I will be reclaiming bags for my evening arrival in SIN before checking them back in with BA the following evening with both flights on the same ticket.
I would like the overnight in Singapore but am happy to change to same day connecting flights to ensure that I benefit from BA's allowance.
