Hi all, got a bit of a conundrum I hope you can help with.

I am a gch flying F to hkg, then connecting onto cathay to Cebu.

ba will give 4*32kg, cathay flight only lists 3 bags.

ba have advised me that cathay will not extend the 4th bag to me as I am a ba gch, not anything with them.

I was wondering, in practice will this happen with bags checked through or will they not bother me and just let them through?

I would love to get everything into 3 bags, but it aint gonna happen. if they do pull me on it, any idea what the charges might be?

I have looked through both ba and cathay sites and can't find an answer.
