SFO-LHR A340-600 vs 787-9 Economy
Mrs NCL and I have decided travel to Hawaii and California in February. as we are away for 3 weeks, we have decided to keep costs down by using miles for our TATL sectors NCL-LHR-YVR on BA (YVR-SEA-KOA-HNL-LAX DL/HA/G4) and returning SFO-LHR-NCL on VS/BA, neither airline has availability in our usual choice of PE so economy it is. We have a choice of A346 or 789 from SFO with VS and were wanting to know how economy seats compare between the two in terms of general comfort? The A340`s twin seat configuration looks like an advantage but is the newer 789 more comfortable? I would pay for an exit/extra legroom row if available, any advice would be great.

p.s Any ideas on when the next reward seat sale will be on?
