One other suggestion for OP would be to status match your UA status to Alaska and buy the cheapest MVP instant upgradable economy fare, which looks to be coming in at $501 each way FLL-SEA. The trick with that one however is you'll likely have to book some time out, as U space on FLL-SEA, as mentioned, is very sparse.
