Our friends are getting married this weekend. Since we live in different countries and can't make it to their wedding, we decided to help them get to their honeymoon destination and back as a wedding gift. So last week, I transferred miles to my partner's account to get the bonus, and my partner transferred part of his miles back to my account to recoup even more bonus miles. With that, we used my partner's miles to book the honeymooners' outbound flight and used my miles to book their inbound flight. Everything went smoothly. All bookings were successfully ticketed shortly after. Then, the next day both my partner's and my LifeMiles account were locked. I immediately called LifeMiles and was told to email a scan of our passports to Support which we did. It's been four days since we did that, and we have not heard anything back. Both accounts remain inaccessible. We tried calling, but the agents we spoke to could do nothing to help us.

So... I am concerned about 2 things. First, will I be able to gain access to my account again (there are still quite a bit of miles left in both accounts). Second and most importantly- are my friends' honeymoon flights safe? Checkmytrip.com still shows everything as "confirmed". My friends are leaving on their honeymoon in the second week of August. I'd hate for them to show up at the airport and find out that their tickets are no good.

Any comments/suggestion on this issue will be much appreciated. Thank you!
