Looking into flying BA from Marseilles to LHR to JFK. Flight from Marseilles arrives at T3. Flight to JFK departs from T5. It will be my wife and I, and our two young children (3 and 5). We will be in either business or first.
Is this going to be a pain in the *ss to accomplish? Should we look into other european cities for connections? Problem is award availability.
This is not until next june. Any chance that BA moves that Marseille flight to terminal 5?
Agree it isnt that hard. LHR has a reputation from many years past that it was an impenetrable rabbit warren, but they've done a pretty good job of color coding things and very easy to interpret signs. I definitely helps that the brits speak English too.
Just watch connecting times- dont cut it so close to the MCTs, and it will be easy. Odds are you'll have plenty of time in the lounges too.
