A simplistic answer is any international flight from USA mainland to any destination not in North America plus PS. Or any flight not eligible for RPU/CPU.

Note there are a few exceptions to the above (such as a few northern South American airports) but very few.

UA has lie-flat on all long haul international, PS and a few other routes.
