I have booked a Flybe ticket using Avios (MAN-DUS) and it says hand baggage only. So I presume that I have to pay to add a checked bag. When I look at the booking on the Flybe site, using the PNR, it says it is a hand baggage only fare. So that seems pretty clear to me, although I find it surprising (Iberia redemptions using BA Avios are exempt from baggage charges, although not all IB agents know this).

So what is the latest concerning Flybe flights booked using BA Avios?
