Well for that route you will need a car, or maybe a train, or a plane or more likely a boat and it will take a looooooooooooong time to get from Santander to Santiago de Compastella heading east.
I think the initial misunderstanding of you having a car came from your earlier post

Sounds to me like you were staying downtown before heading to the airport for an 11 am flight. Some of us have actually stayed in the city center with an 11 am flight. And especially since you were talking about having a car elsewhere.
