I double checked with British OB call centre and they confirmed. For that particular flight, there are 3 seats when using Avios but no seats using OB points.
Even it's going to be issued with T class (so the same for avios and OB redemptions), there is no availability.
I digged and asked why is that, agent said to me that AA is deciding how much space to give for each program. That's weird.
So were you able to book the flight over the phone?
Not sure I understand what you are saying? If there is avios availability on AA flights then there should be onbusiness availabilty.
I booked over the phone when online it showed no availability.
