This was a diversion from London City to Southend on a Saturday because LCY closes at 12.30 pm on Saturday afternoons and my flight had a 2 hr+ delay. A letter was given out on the plane to everyone saying that you could either take the coach that BA had organised from Southend to City or BA would reimburse costs up to £50 if you wanted to make your own way to Central London on public transport.
