After the program changes which took place few months ago, it was possible to use points not only for BA flights but also IB and AA. When that started, I searched for some example routes where I could burn my points and found wide availability on domestic flights in US, flights to HNL or between South America and North America.

Then BA had some glitch when it was impossible to book AA flights using avios or OB points. They fixed it some time ago but now I see almost no availability for AA flights. For many routes it doesn't exist at all, for many redemption is possible only in C class, even looking 6-8 months from now.

Actually at the moment I did not find ANY AA route in Y possisble to book with OB points.

I wonder if it's AA putting some limits for BA or BA itself cutting the opportunities? Today I even found a flight available to use with Avios but not with OB points.
