Because I'm in NJ, 10 mi from EWR, and because the LGA flight is twice the price of the EWR flight.
OK. But what you save in $$$ may be offset by inconvenience if your EWR-PHL flight is delayed or canceled.

Got any BA Avios (or points that can be converted to BA Avios)? When there is SAAver availability from LGA to BOS on US, those seats can be had for just 4,500 Avios in Coach.
