Look, I hate resort fees and silly charges as much as anyone, but let's not conflate the issues. As long as there is some pool on the property that is free for guests, what's the problem? The real issue is that one previously-free pool is now being run more like a pool party / dayclub and Flamingo is charging for it. This would be analogous to the resort fee issue only if all pools at the Flamingo started charging for entry.

I wouldn't be so sure. For example, this season Marquee Dayclub started opening Mon-Thu with free admission. So there are some pools that are going in the other direction. Just a matter of perspective, I guess.
