I stayed there in mid March, was still Gold at that moment, no upgrade offered.
Planning to be there again in the coming few months, now I'm plat and not sure if the chance of getting suite upgrades will be high (but anyway I saw the comments about happy hour stuff in lounge which is good enough to me already).
