I don't mind Courtyards. They are consistent, you pretty much know what room you are getting. I like the healthy start breakfast sandwich, I would rather pay for that than the same exact boring breakfast at FI or SHS. Also, as a platinum I get a free market item when I check in.
They are boring and cookie cutter, but that is not necessarily bad.
I am fine to pay, but please don't nickle and dime for every single thing. I am fine if they want to remove the buffet/cookie cutter breakfast, but too nickle and dime after paying for a package price this is really terrible. Furthermore at least at the CY I am staying, I would say that the quality of food if not much better compared to what is available at the FI or SHS. This mornings scrambled eggs were dried out and luke warm, sausage patties looks dried up.
Looking at how things operate, everything is still more or less prepacked and assembled together when ordered.
Only exceptions are maybe to the Egg Fritata and the Eggs to order items. My opinion is the high cost is to hire a cook and 2-3 additional servers.
After this morning pathetic meal, I decided to just pack up again to move to the nearby FI.
