We stayed at the PH; twice. One of our favorite PHs in the world. The service is quite good. The area feels very European with restaurants and cafes. If you're looking for the authentic Istanbul experience than its probably not the best option. The GH on Taksim is much closer to that. Also the public transit options aren't great as well at the PH. Taxis are fine leaving the hotel but others, can be quite suspect especially in the tourist areas.
