You can stroll over to 3rd Ave., between 72/73 street. There's a sit down BBQ restaurant (No, not Texas BBQ). I'm talking ribs, chicken, burgers and salads. Family friendly and Cheap!! Good value for the $$.

Also, there's EJ's luncheonette on 3rd Ave, in the same neighborhood. They have a counter and tables. Slightly upscale compared to a coffee shop.

And you MUST go to E.A.T. on Madison between 80/81 st for some kind of walk-a-way pastry. I might recommend the killer brownies. A little pricey; but you do get what you pay for.
