If I am doing an east coast trip I find it easiest to get an overnight on Thursday, landing on Friday. I get to sleep shortly after take off and have found WT+ is comfortable enough.

On landing, shower, breakfast, coffee and then straight into work. I rarely go home, only because then I find it hard to stay awake.

I push through work (try and run at lunchtime) more coffee and then home. I allow myself to sleep at about 9pm earliest.

The next day I pretty much always wake up fine and ready for the weekend. It's worked for me on recent trips....you do have to push through that first day, but at least being at work keeps you stimulated!
