Hello. I am not sure if it is better to post my question here or on the Travel board. Moderator, please feel free to move this. I also did a search and did not find the answer to my question. So, here goes...

I will be at a course in NYC the first week of March at the Hilton NY, where I will be staying as well. I have not been to NYC in years and years and am not familiar with this particular location. Can anyone give me recommendations for good restaurants (good food, nice atmosphere, where a single lady would feel comfortable) within easy walking distance of the hotel? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
