Rep: "Hi what can I do for you"
Me: "I'm thinking about canceling my card and was wondering if there were any special offers available"
Rep: "Let me check. We can offer you a $95 credit to offset the fee. Is that something you'd be interested in?"
Me: "Yes".
Rep: "Great, I'll notate that you accepted the offer and it should take 1-2 statements for it to show up. Is there anything else I can help you with today?"
Me: "No, thanks"
Rep: "Have a great day"
Took less than 90 seconds start to finish. Sometimes I get all worked up for nothing! Spent 7.5k in last 12 months.

Almost the exact same conversation. Except I didn't even mention cancelling.
