Smile Questions for seasoned JAL Mileage Bank Members

I have a couple of questions I need some help on, so I'm reaching out for your guidance. I currently have oneworld emerald with Qatar Airways, but the wife and myself are planning on moving to Japan so am looking into moving to JAL.

I would be grateful for guidance on the following:

1. One of the criteria for Diamond is: "100,000 FLY ON Points (including 50,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights)" As I fly a lot on JAL code share - QR and Cathay, I want to know from your experience if code share flights count as JAL Group flights or not. Reason I ask is that I rang up customer service (London Office) and they did not know, which is a bit worrying...

2. On the following link and at the bottom of the page, it gives mention to "Partner (Spouse) Status" http://www.jal.co.jp/en/jalmile/flyon/premier.html What does this mean in practical terms? Does this mean Mrs Wrighty will also get her membership made equivalent to what I achieve, or is this just wishful thinking? A key goal is that I'm wanting Mrs Wrighty to get JGC status so she can sustain membership with the credit card as she does not fly as often as myself.

3. What are your thoughts about registering the account at a Japan address, or in my address overseas? Are they any pros or cons for either?

4. I see there is a family program for pooling miles. When Mrs Wrighty travels, where will here Fly On points go? Will they only contribute to the rise in her membership level or will they contribute to my account and membership level as head of family?

Many thanks in advance everyone for your guidance on this. I'm looking forward to being a member!^
