OK they likely won't send you the cash until they have verified that they have the first lot back.
Direct deposit it a lot cheaper and quicker (and safer) than sending out cheques.
Plus sending a cheque would probably mean you paying additional bank charges as BA would issue it in £ rather than $.
They haven't wired any money just yet, so they were able to edit my routing number first.(at least that's what the BA agent in the UK said)
I've never had anybody wire money directly into my bank account, so I was kind of surprised that my bank charges a $24.95 fee for receiving a wire transfer.(this is one of the three biggest banks in the U.S.) They don't charge any fees if the transfer comes from my employer or the US government(such as IRS or SS)
