The next person who claims that 'shareholder value' is the yardstick to which companies should hold themselves I will explain what a fool he is. Real unnovation and change is rarely stimulated by 'increasing shareholder value'. Oddly enough, companies who don't all make it about this are the ones who put a dent in the universe and surprise their shareholders.
I really hate this stupid argument. Shareholder value is not real and working from quarterly statement to quarterly statement is for accountants and bankers.
