Don't know wether they are Europeans but according to the World Bank international arrivals went up by about 1.8 million between 2010 and 2013. That almost a 60% increase over 4 years.
Doesn't Air Astana have some sort of partnership with LH's M&M when it comes to their FFP? Of course that's not a real obstacle to joining OW, just wondering if that has any influence on the matter.
